New Google Search Console explained in full in 2019, without skipping a section. I will walkthrough each section step by step and I'll give you tips on most useful sections and how you can use them to your advantage to improve your SEO in 2019. Google Search Console is an extensive tool to keep track of your SEO traffic. You will probably mostly use the performance tab and occasionally resolve few errors.

We start the video by covering how to set-up Google Search Console on your website. We use Google Analytics and go through the Admin section to Add the Google Search Console product and verify it through Google Analytics. Once we do that, we're able to sign-in to Google Search Console to see our current performance in Google Search.

We cover the Performance area in depth so you can see your top Google search queries, pages, countries, devices, and more. You can look at different dates and analyze different pages to see what keywords drive you the most search engine traffic.

From there, we cover URL Inspection and show you what an AMP error looks like. AMP errors can be difficult to fix, but the URL Inspection tool will give you opportunities if you have any coverage issues in search results. We also show how to fix your Coverage Errors and Warnings by Validating Fixes.

Submitting a Sitemap is very important in Google Search Console because you can tell Google when you add new pages to your website, update your website structure, remove pages, and more, which keeps your website up to date in search results without errors.

One major thing you can do is look at your backlinks to see what websites are currently linking to you, what your top pages are, your internal links, and more.

The good news is: the number of searches on Google keeps growing.

The bad news is: decreasing clickthrough rates on organic results ( especially in mobile), fewer big companies dominating the world’s Google search results and more results answered entirely in Google’s SERPs.

As Google answers a higher and higher percent of queries in the results themselves and refers out less traffic to websites, we’re all gonna have to think about how we influence search audiences through what Google shows rather than just focusing on driving traffic to our own sites.

A big part of SEO’s future will be on the SERP rather than driving traffic to websites.
