Our channel, Carl and Alex Fishing was launched in 2013. Our aim was to inspire people to go fishing, because at the time we did not have many friends who fished. Over the years we have filmed carp fishing, coarse fishing, fly fishing and even a bit of sea angling. We do not earn money from making these videos, in fact it costs us quite a lot to make each film. Because of this we don't upload as regularly as other YouTubers as we both work full time, however we hope you still enjoy watching our films and maybe a few of you are inspired to get out and catch some fish.
A big thank you to everyone for taking our channel, that's right our channel you the viewers and subscribers who take time to watch my videos and interact with myself, help make this channel what it is as much as I do in creating and uploading the videos, so thank you for taking the channel passed four thousand subscribers!
You join me out on the banks of the River Blackwater for a days link legering predominantly for Perch, using lob worms (I do switch to bread briefly for a couple of roach) with a loose feed of maggots, targeting likely looking holding zones and debris strewn swims. Please be aware that this is a 50 minute video and there were many juvenile perch caught throughout the course of the trip,my apologies to anyone whom might not want to watch the full video due to this, however I can assure you it is worth the watch to see the swims I fish and for the new Venue best perch which turns up to put a solid bend into the Drennan mini feeder rod.

I went down to the Apache Pier with my friend Mike Caruso, in hopes of doing some salt-water Multi-Species angling. Little we knew that among all the smaller Species of fish, there were some unknown giants that lurked around that pier…

You join me on the river for a fishing trip on the stick float and centre pin, I spend this particular trip running the float through many intimate swims, from debris filled little pools, to pacey glides. Chub, Roach, Dace and Perch all feature.
