The number one tip for SEO is to look at YouTube to bring your search results much more than your website. All the hustling and tricks and things you'll do on your website are nothing compared, for most of us, to the traffic we can get on YouTube because most everyone works on their Google search but there's very low competition still on YouTube. For SEO, the number one thing, go where there's low competition. Now, I appreciate you getting started with this and we're going to dive much deeper into SEO including website SEO in great detail here and I'd make sure get this number one thing out its said here first so that you know this going forward.
One of the most powerful SEO strategies to do is to partner with a third party who will give you the tools and ability to rank a page high on their website. Because on your little website, on my little website, it's very hard for me to go compete with a website like Udemy and that's why big websites have huge power. To me, a good SEO approach has both these top pages that bring in, this one page alone brings in about 100 people a day and this page brings in about 60 or 70 people a day. Alright let's talk about Facebook marketing! You're probably doing it all wrong but it's ok it's not your fault and I'm here to help. The problem is $5 ad sets just don't get used correctly and fact of the matter is they are really only designed for testing not long term profiting.
So most people just keep duplicating the $5 ad sets and well that's a problem. Facebook will optimize at the ad set only so this means no matter how many times you duplicate it's pointless because all the advert optimization is going on within the specific ad sets.
So the problem with Facebook testing and scaling is the $5 a day budget is really only good for testing and should not be used to a long term based Facebook advertising strategy. Now what ever method you use does depend on your goal so just make sure you are getting at least 15+ conversions a week to have a chance of being successful.
So when it comes to social media and advertising on Facebook it's a good idea to get it right or you will just keep losing money! I have found if you increase slowly the ad will perform better in the long run.

Retargeting ads is marketing to those people who you know have already been to your website. So you know that they are interested in your product and so you have a higher chance to make the sale. You also know that they didn't take action before because of your price, message or they just got distracted.
A few general truths or facts about the internet are:
→about 98% of people who view something you're selling online won't end up buying your product
→the average customer will interact with your page multiple times before they make a decision to buy the product
→it either costs time(SEO) or money to get people to your webpage and advertise it
→if you get low conversion rates despite buying traffic it usually means that people aren't taking action even though they showed enough interest to click on your ad – this means that your sales page isn't convincing enough
→to get people who haven't bought your product back to your website you have to either attract them back with the same ad or display a new ad with a different message, to a different page, based on the fact that you now that they have seen your original offer
There are a few different providers that will let you do retargeting. The most obvious and also the easiest to set up is Facebook. Another great example is Adroll but the setup is more complex. The instructor suggests starting with Facebook and then scaling to other platforms from there.
How to set up retargeting:
Step 1: You first have to ask yourself if you'll be promoting your own website or an affiliate product. If it's your own website the setup is quite easy but it's a bit more complex in case you're trying to do it for an affiliate product.
Step 2: You need to decide on your flow, are you sending the traffic back to the same offer or a completely new one. If you're doing it for the same offer that's fine but only as long as you give them a real reason to buy now, like a limited time offer or a sale.
Step 3: You have to set up your Facebook ads account at http://www.facebook .com/advertising. If you already have an account go to next step.
Step 4: We need to set up our audience. You have to think of each page on your website as a custom audience that you can target.
Step 5: Follow the video tutorial.
After completing the five steps you now have a new audience you can run your Facebook Ads to.
→If your ad isn't doing too well, don't freak out but try changing it's picture
→You can pretend that you're inviting them somewhere since this isn't the first time they've seen you – if you get creative this can get very powerful
→The most effective retargeting ads are the ones that answer an objection. Try to think why they didn't buy your product the first time around
